The GatorWell Health Hut is a peer-based outreach program committed to encouraging and empowering University of Florida students to achieve overall health, happiness and success. Staffed by our trained Wellness Educators, we work to help UF students’ development of skills related to their 8 Dimensions of Wellness to provide balance and support optimal wellness and ultimately student success.
When visiting the Health Hut, peer Wellness Educators will provide:
- Thought provoking information about relevant health and wellness topics through rotating bi-weekly health messages and accompanying skill-based activities.
- Distribution of related Health Behavior Tools related to the bi-weekly messages in order to support your behavior change journey.
- Campus resources and referrals to best connect students to other health and wellness campus partners.
The Health Hut travels across areas of campus to highly trafficked areas in order to best reach students. Please check out our calendar to find the Health Hut’s current location.
