Student Involvement

Here are ways students can get involved with GatorWell. Contact us if you would like additional information about any of these opportunities.

Volunteer

Students interested in volunteering at GatorWell need to complete the following form which will then be reviewed by the department.  Students will be contacted by a GatorWell staff member within 7-10 days of submitting the application.

Internship

GatorWell provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and build leadership skills. This hands-on opportunity is designed to strengthen your understanding of Health Education/Health Promotion as a field, specifically Health Promotion in Higher Education, and prepare you for future employment. Independent Study and Class Projects

If you are interested in working at GatorWell for a class project or independent study offering course, the requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Wellness Educators

GatorWell hires engergic and dynamic students to promote health and wellness at the Health Hut.  As a Wellness Educator, you will need to take the initiative to approach students and encourage them to participate in our interactive wellness activities that are foused on our bi-weekly health topics.
